How Much Does The LSAT Cost?

The cost of taking the LSAT (Law School Admission Test) in the United States was approximately $200 as of my last update in September 2022. Please keep in mind that test fees and policies are subject to change, so it is critical to confirm the current cost directly from the official LSAC (Law School Admission Council) website or other authorized sources.

The basic LSAT registration fee usually covers the cost of taking the test as well as sending your results to the law schools to which you wish to apply. However, there may be additional fees for services such as late registration, test center changes, and score reports to schools other than those included in the registration fee.

Fee waivers are available to qualified candidates who demonstrate financial need. The fee waiver covers the cost of the LSAT as well as other benefits such as access to the Credential Assembly Service (CAS) and a limited number of fee waivers for law school applications.

If you are thinking about taking the LSAT, you must plan and budget for the associated costs. Check the LSAC website or contact them directly for the most up-to-date information on current LSAT fees and any fee waiver options.
